The characterization is excellent, and I feel Dorian's frustration that Klaus is so unresponsive! Poor dears, both of them. Much as I love the many fics that just find some excuse to make Klaus cave so that we can get them both naked, this is so much more realistic.

Thank you so much! I'm so happy you enjoyed it! I think you caught me while I was still adding chapters, it took me forever to do last night since I was re-reading through everything at the same time.
I was pretty careful about the characterization. I had just read a huge chunk of the original series before I wrote it, so I had a pretty firm idea of what seemed "right" in my head. That was one of the reasons the last half goes on forever, because I just could not help myself when it came to the conversations.
